Oriental Carpet & Area Rug Cleaning

We clean all types of Oriental Rugs. Fringes are carefully cleaned and groomed by hand.

These carpets usually require a special cleaning process. They are most often made from wool, and are not always colourfast. Because of the extended time required to clean oriental rugs correctly and because it is difficult to clean oriental carpets and area rugs on location,  we prefer to take these back to our premises to be properly cleaned. And if there is fringe involved, it needs to be cleaned by hand after the body of the carpet  is cleaned. These carpets are often installed over hard wood floors, which can present a problem with over-spray from the cleaning process. But there are some situations that prevent the carpet from being removed and provisions can be made to clean them in situ. However, collection and delivery of these rugs is FREE, so it is always to your advantage to have it cleaned off-site, where possible.

For our insurance purposes, we will always ask you to tell us the replacement value of these items, for as you will be aware, some oriental rugs can be very valuable items.
